I would give it 5 starts if the product did not leave gaps between the bumper cover and the frame. I wish the manufacturer provide a rubber shims between them. (See pictures) Very easy to install.

Good, solid hitch. DIY install in 45 minutes. Tip: Tighten the 1/2 hardware between hitch and bumper before re-installing bumper (or may be difficult to fit socket-style torque wrench).

Installed on my 2017 Ram Promaster.Takes about an hour with Wisconson Salt and rust on bolts. My local Ram dealership quoted me $1600.00 for hitch and wiring. etrailer soaked me about $175.00 without wiring. I'll install that later.If picture is shown Lic plate is subtle.
We are adding the Laverne step to your hitch. Works great and far superior to the brackets supplied with the step. It would be great if this were an offering. We’d buy for our fleet, and I’d bet others would too.

Work perfect for my 2021 RAM Promaster 2500
Arrived quickly. The box had some external damage but the hitch was fine. It installed pretty easily following the video instructions. Nice to be able to do the install without any drilling, cutting or grinding.

Installation is about as easy as it gets. Only thing I didn't like is the provided bolts barely cover the square holes in the original bumper. I will be adding washers.
I was able to install this product in about 45 minutes with simple hand tools. Looks great. Saved $$$ doing this project myself instead of going to a trailer shop.
I just finished installing the Curt hitch on my Promaster. It is a perfect fit. I liked the finish of the hitch and the quality of the hardware provided for mounting. It was easy to install. I only needed assistance when lifting the assembly in to position for bolting it to the van. I plan on using the hitch to mount a swing out spare tire carrier as most Promaster vans used for RV manufacturer do not have a spare tire. This problem has been solved for me. etrailer was great to work with from start to finish. They have several "how to" videos. There are several different hitch receivers available for the Promaster. I highly recommend the Curt. It is truly a custom fit.
Very easy to install on my 2023 RAM ProMaster van and feels super sturdy. The only niggle I have is that the hitch slightly interferes with the bumper cover so that it leaves a small gap between the cover and the van. I could probably fix by cutting some small notches in the cover, but it's a very minor issue.

Hi-five on the install, Meiyan! It looks great. What are you going to be using the hitch for?
The trailer hitch went on no problem on my 2024 Ram Promaster. It took about an hour, and the instructions were clear. The photos were a little dark on the included printouts, but I was able to follow along.
My Ram has a LF sensor in the bumper which I think is for remote locking/unlocking, and I had to relocate it to accommodate the hitch. Not too big a deal, I just zip-tied it in place on the hitch arm.

High-five on the install, Laurence! What are you going to be hauling with your Promaster?
Got it installed, looks pretty good. My 2025 Ram ProMaster 1500 had an optional rear step, and I was hoping that I could keep my step after adding the hitch, although I knew it might not be possible.
I initially installed the hitch without the step, and used the bolts included with the hitch. The extra width of the hitch mount step bracket requires longer screws, but that extra 1/4 " width of the hitch had me concerned that there wouldn't be enough thread left for my step mounting screws to connect properly.
To be able to bolt the step platform securely to the hitch mount, I needed slightly longer M10x1.25mm thread, 80mm long, and couldn't find any locally, so ordered a set of 5 through McMaster-Carr (only 4 needed, see photo of the bolts. Shortest bolt in image is what is supplied with this hitch, black bolt is the one originally used with the step, and longest bolt is what I used to ensure enough threads attached the assembly), removed the old bolts, and added the step.
I did have to trim a piece of the front raised section of the step (no metal in that section so it's easy to cut), and then I was able to force the center of the step under the hitch opening with just a little force.
So, if you have the optional Ram rear step, it can be made to fit back on with this hitch, and the safety chain connections are still accessible which is important.

After a year, thousands or miles, multiple States, and a few different trailers this hitch is great. I can adjust the ball height to ensure my trailer is level, no matter what trailer i am pulling or how heavy the trailer is.
